I am pleased to report after loading without a graphical layer in Ubuntu 12.04, an update to 14.04 or plain install on Ubuntu of the game works perfectly. No music issues, no mouse or control issues. It works great and it's a really fun game! It's pretty cheap on Steam, so I highly encourage everyone who likes cooking games or casual games that run a bit more challenging than usual to give it a shot!

Actually, I just saw that it has a native Linux version. I don't know what you are talking about when you say "graphic layer", as I have never heard that term. I think that you were just trying to say that there is a Linux version, right? haha.
