Hello,
I've installed the Windows version of Steam through PlayonMac and have installed Scratches: Director's Cut through Steam. When I launch it through Steam, a small pop up appears saying "WARNING: Could not launch in full screen", immediately after which the game launches in full screen, but I can't toggle out of full screen. (cmd+alt+A doesn't work. I have to leave the game to exit fullscreen.)
The game flickers really violently. It's difficult to describe but it's flashing and also the actual content I'm meant to be looking at is kind of transparent, and behind it there is just other random parts of the game. It's really messy. Also sometimes I can't move my mouse and it's stuck in the middle. Audio is fine though. And Steam itself is fine from what I could tell, just not the game.
I'm using PlayonMac 4.2.4 and Wine version 1.7.22. I'm on a Macbook 13" retina display (late 2012), so I'm using Intel HD Graphics 4000 with a VRAM of 1024 MB. OS X 10.9.4.
I think it's also important to mention that I tried to capture my screen to show my problem via OS X's native screen capture feature (QuickTime), however when I'm recording the game actually looks perfect. The mouse issue persists though.
Apologies if there's any information I've missed out. Feel free to ask if there's anything else I should provide. As you can tell I'm kind of new to this stuff so I'd prefer fairly detailed instructions if I'm to get help fixing this. Thanks in advance!
