with a littlemore searching, I think I fondthe main issue with hackshield.

techincally it is a root kit. it wants administrative permissions so it can monitor active memory (scan for changes to active game data, multiple instances, etc).

there have been some reports of hackshield running and recording internet activity when the game isn't running (I don't know if it is true).

 

I'm still waiting for the dowload to complete but here are a few "fixes" that you guys can try. Let me know if it works. I'll try once my download is complete. There HAS TO be a way to get this to work on POM/POL.
