Hello

I want to run HOME (a spinoff of OFF (ofofof)), a RPG maker 2003 game on mac. I installed HOME completely fine using playonmac, but I can't run it because it's missing the RPG maker 2003 runtime packages. How do I go about fixing the runtime packages?

Unrelated observation: The "message posted" thing here is in french.

Yes. Some of the stuff has not been fully translated yet, and this project originates in France.

Well, we need a little more info. If you read the forum rules and stickies, you can see that we require the debug output and your computer specs, as it is impossible to know all details needed to troubleshoot efficiently.

Also, if it says it is missing that package, it seems like you will need to download the RPG Maker 2003 runtime exe from the official site, and install it into the virtual drive for HOME.

If that doesn't work, then again, we woud need your debug output and specs, as per forum rules.

Thanks

Sorry for the wait (and not reading stickies, it's a bad habit).

I got it working by using the Rpgm2k3 to play Home!

Buuuut there are hiccups that make the game unplayable. Is missing music and ridiculous loading times(total freeze in one spot) a common issue? Should I contact the game maker?

Specs:

Processor: 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Memory: 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB

OS X 10.9.2

PlayOnMac 4.2.4

About debugging, the debug info doesn't seem to want to go into a console style window. I do not want to create a waaaaall of text, so I'll wait on that until someone says "Stupid, this is how you do it!". But I'll do say that both copies of the rm2k3 (I forgot I downloaded the first one) seem to have errors, both different.

You can always pastebin the debug output. Also, upgrade PlayOnMac to 4.2.5.
