League of Legends crashes right after game loads

Hi guys! This is my first post, so let me know if I should be providing more information, posting somewhere else, etc.

I installed PlayOnLinux and LoL. I think PlayOnLinux is fine because I test installed FreeCell and finished a game. LoL is giving me trouble. Everything is great until I "get" to the loading screen. After champion select, the screen is black (it's not displaying the loading screen). After some time, I can tell the game has loaded because when I click and press buttons, I hear game sounds (champion talking). The screen has stayed black this entire time though. After a few seconds "in game," LoL crashes, bringing me back to the LoL chat client with the orange reconnect button in the middle of the screen. When I tried switching to the fglrx and fglrx-updates drivers, it crashes before getting to the loading screen (screen doesn't turn black). I ran the debugger and got

"err:d3d:resource_init Out of adapter memory".

Not sure what's going on. If you guys could help me out, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I downloaded 64-bit Mint 17.0 Xfce on my new computer today. Specs are
GPU: R7 250, 1 GB RAM, PCIE

GPU Driver: xserver-xorg-video-ati, version 1:7.3.0-1ubuntu3.1

Other GPU Drivers I tried: fglrx, version 2:13.350.1-0ubuntu2; fglrx-updates version 2:13.350.1-0ubuntu2
RAM: 4 GB

Wine: 1.7.19-LeagueOfLegends2

Mono: 3.2.8

Have you tried installing the "ATI_Black-Screen_Fix" component?

I don't know much about what it's for, as I have always gone Geforce/Nvidia and thus never needed it, but from my understanding it sounds like the fix to your very problem wink

Correct me if I am wrong somebody.
