Hello,

I am trying to install Warlords III.  I am able to create the new prefix and when I go to install, Wine crashes.  The error message I get is: winevdm.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close.  Below is the detailed report.

I browse to the SETUP.EXE file on the CD-Rom.  If I just let it choose the disk to run, it does nothing but acts like it installed the program.  But when I browse the "Program Files" nothing has been installed and the Warlords setup program never initiated.

I used a free trial version of CrossOver to successfully install Warlords and successfully launched and began playing, but the game is not worth $60 to me to buy CrossOver.   But it does tell me, at least, that it can be done!

I am running Maverick OS X (10.9.2) on a MacBook Pro.

Any help would be appreciated.  I have tried to configure Wine before creating the prefix to be set for Windows 95/98, but that didn't change the outcome, either.

Thanks,

Sheryl
