Hello, this is my first post here.

I want to try the Arma2Free with POL. I installed the game using this: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?129553-ARMA2-OA-CO-Demo-Free-TOH-on-WINE-Linux!
guide.

It seems that the installation went ok. But when I try to start the game it pop up a message that says "DX9 SDK version 32 required" and crashes.

Here are the debug printout:

[03/21/14 19:38:09] - Running wine-1.6.2 arma2free.exe
fixme:win:RegisterRawInputDevices Unhandled flags 0x300 for device 0.

it sounds like I do not have a proper geforce drivers, but I am able to play 3d game like PlaneShift, so it sounds strange.

P.S. My system is Debian 7 64 bits

Any help please.

If anyone can elaborate on how to fix this I would greatly appreciate it. I am new to linux however I have done an extensive amount of research to try and fix this but nothing seems to work. Additionally if anyone can speak as to which drivers are best to be used for Arma 2 that would be greatly benificial. I am using "additional Drivers" as my application to update them and have had some trouble in the past with recieving "broken pipe" on login. I have read that the best driver to use for arma 2 is Nvidia's 191.07 driver's however I cant find how to actually apply that to my computer? I am currently using Nvidia 304? and actually got into the game once but then it froze and I had to restart my computer, every since I have had the error "DX9 SDK version 32 required" pop up upon trying to launch. I have gone into the Playonlinux configure menu then install packages and tried to add directx9 with no results. Any information would be benificial. Thanks in advance.

try this:
      rm ~/.PlayOnLinux/wine/linux-x86/wine-1.6.2/lib/libxcb*
it worked for me!
