Refrences I used to get started:
http://askubuntu.com/questions/394561/diablo-iii-play-on-linux

I just installed a fresh and updated copy of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on my laptop. Installed the graphics driver and proceeded to follow the instructions in the link above and installed wine1.7.

I then followed the OP's commands to install POL... After installing POL i went to battle.net and signed in, downloaded the windows installer for Diablo 3. Fired up POL and started going through the steps. I get all the way to the point where the battle.net launcher opens and starts trying to find "my games" so i can actually instally Diablo 3 and wine crashes causing the whole thing to stop working.

Any help would be GREAT as I don't want to install W7 again just to play D3...
