I hate to be so annoying, but I've searched through 5 pages on this forum and tried every solution I found, but my problem isnt fixed.

Currently, I am successfully logging into LoL and can start a game. After I leave champion select, I see the League of Legends logo for a second in the center of my screen and then it leaves. A small Riot games logo appears in the top right of screen. After about 15 seconds, the LoL client pops up again and says I disconnected/crashed/w/e from the game and has an orange button that says Reconnect (like when you normally d/c from a game).

Anyone have a solution?

I've tried the /etc/hosts solution, no fix.

You could try running mtr/winmtr in the background with 5 sec test intervals just to make sure that your network connection isn't bouncing for some reason.

There is a step-by-step guide here:  GamersOnLinux
Maybe there is something that can help you.

IE is no longer required with the newer versions of Wine.
I have always been able to do the tutorial just fine.

Terryc - Are you able to run other games in Linux?
