Hello,

I'm trying to get working Cisco Jabber client in POL. It's a kind of Skype client but for company internal use. I need to use it because it's a company choice and all teams are working with it.

[EDIT] I deeply change my posts because I succeed in installing properly the soft and launching it.

I have now errors occuring during the soft execution.
It launches, I can login, login is ok. but after the load of the GUI it crashes.

It seems that the following errors are responsible (mainly the gstplugin for me) :
wine: cannot find L"C:\\windows\\system32\\ctfmon.exe"
0:00:00.148126000     8   0282CF30 WARN      GST_PLUGIN_LOADING gstplugin.c:769:gst_plugin_load_file: module_open failed: `C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\Cisco Jabber\gstreamer-0.10\libgstwinks.dll': **

Cisco Jabber installation guide :Guide

MSI file : CiscoJabberSetup.msi download link

I Installed these libraries : IE8, Fonts, directx9
Changed dnsapi.dll by this one http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?dnsapi and changed to native in the wine config.
Force ICMP rights with :
sudo setcap cap_net_raw+epi ~/.PlayOnLinux/wine/linux-x86/1.5.16/bin/wine-preloader
sudo setcap cap_net_raw+epi ~/.PlayOnLinux/wine/linux-amd64/1.5.16/bin/wine-preloader
