some pre-information
using Zorin OS 7 64 bit
AMD FX 4130, Radeon 7870 GHz edition
nearly every setting is the Zorin OS defaults including the desktop
PlayOnLinux version 4.2.1

Ok, so, when trying to install a gog game, I get some error that google tells me I have to get around by using the wine /nogui option when installing the game.  I am able to open a terminal window and manually type wine "c:\gamepath\exefile.exe" /nogui and it works, and the game works too, but I kinda wanted to have all of my games listed under the PlayOnLinux gui so I don't clutter my C drive or the desktop.  I can't figure out how to ask PlayOnLinux to launch wine with the /nogui option.

I also cannot seem to update to 4.2.2.  When I launch PlayOnLinux, it tells me that a new version 4.2.2 is available, but when I go into aptitude and tell it to update PlayOnLinux, it just downloads 4.2.1 again.

As far as I know there's no such feature in the GUI, it can only be done using install scripts.

See on the download page how to add PlayOnLinux repository and get new versions from the sources instead of the version that comes with your distribution.
