I installed Firefox using PlayonLinux.

I want to install the Logmein Client software onto firefox so I can use the service to remotely use a PC.

I tried running the Logmein client software, but can not seem to get it working.

Is this possible?

Please provide instruction, I want to use Ubuntu as my main daily PC, but the only issue is with Logmein.

I do not want to use Virtual PC, I would imagine this is quite possible.

Thanks

The Logmein Client plugin does not work on the native Firefox on Linux.

I have been using Logmein for a while and love how it works. I use VNC over SSH as well as other remote clients you mentioned.

But I really enjoy Logmein.

Use Teamviewer. It has a "native" Linux client (just a custom wine version) that you can download and use for free from their site. I have had really good luck with it.

VNC over SSH is ok, but requires either 1) port forwarding, 2) some sort of VPN or PPTP, or 3) reverse VNC over SSH. Otherwise, you cannot access the target network.

Thank you, I feel like there would be a solution to the Logmein plugin.

I used teamviewer, but Logmein is more central and ideal for my need. I am guess there is no solution, How can I request for a community support solution to this?

Thank you, Happy Holidays.

You would need to hit up LogMeIn and maybe make a fuss on their forums.

I have to say, TeamViewer really has all of the functionality that I need. What exactly are you missing in TeamViewer that you would get in LogMeIn? And if its LMI Rescue, I can say for sure that it will run through Wine (I used to run it allllll day).
