loggod	hi there, didn't do a detailed forum search, but wanted to let you guys know that the allocating space bug in wine for the path of exile installer (patcher ) can be solved. According to this thread: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/233564/page/1 by installing your distributions pacakage of libeatmydata and adding export LD_PRELOAD=/your/path/to/libeatmydata.so into the POL's textbox at the Miscellaneous tab in the Configuration screen. reduced the average "allocating space" time from 5 hours to ~2 min for me :-) greetz loggod Edited by loggod

petch	PlayOnLinux install script uses a patched version of Wine for this issue, space allocation takes around 8 minutes on my computer ^{My scripts wiki: https://github.com/petchema/playonlinux/wiki} ^{GOGmix: https://www.gog.com/en/mix/playonlinux_install_scripts}
