Is there a away to just download once on one computer and use it to setup several computers on a home network??  I tried to use capture vault but it only allowed me to restore game setup. Not good with different video or motherboard setups. Also, doesn;t allow single download of addins like vcrun, directx, mono installer or core fonts. Sure would like to save myself some time and just downlaod once and use the home network to setup all the others.  I use apt-cache for all my linux distribution stuff.  I have mostly 386 pcs with either Debian Squeeze ro Wheezy. I have addin Nvidia video cards, although some are agp and some pcie. I only have one Laptop with the other OS, Some are wireless and some hard wired network cards.

You could set up a Squid cache(or similar) and extend the holding time and max size stored.

it should be possible to copy ~/.PlayOnLinux/wine/ (Wine versions) and ~/.PlayOnLinux/ressources/ (files downloaded for components, etc.)
That should lower downloads significantly, but leave you with game updates, etc.
