Problem running Prezi Desktop

Hello

I am trying to run a program with POL (latest version) called Prezi Desktop. Now, the program installed fine, but to start it you have to log in. Every time I try to log in the program says "no connection with prezi.com".
I have tried several general internet fixes for wine (the program itself isn't well-known enough to find any troubleshooting for it for wine) like installing wininet and the such, I have tried several wine versions too, but I can't get it working.
The wineprefix has adobeair, flashplayer, vcrun2008 and wininet installed. Final wine version I tried is 1.7.2, simulating windows XP. I am using Ubuntu 13.04 (32 bit).

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
Here's the log file:

Hi,
The only AppDB test with versions 4.x gives the same result:

Looking at your errors, there may be some certificate problems. I have seen this many times with Wine. Gecko is Wine's implementation of Internet Explorer and it definitely has some security problems with certificates.
I've seen it with Drakensang Online and Outlook 2007.
Not sure if there is a way to fix it, but it is an ongoing problem.

You could try a proxy setting but I have never done this and don't know how it affects certificates.

7.18. How do I configure a proxy?

If you want to use a proxy server for all HTTP connections, simply set the http_proxy environment variable. On many Linux distributions, configuring a network proxy, e.g. with the Network Proxy tool, does this for you automatically.

Alternatively, you can configure a proxy in the registry. There are separate locations for wininet.dll and winhttp.dll.

For wininet, use regedit to add the following values to the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings] key:

"ProxyEnable"=dword:00000001 "ProxyServer"="proxy-server-address:port"
At present, Wine's wininet.dll does not support proxy autoconfiguration (PAC) scripts.

For winhttp, you'll need to use the proxycfg.exe utility to configure the registry. This utility is available in the system32 directory of a Windows installation, and MSDN describes its usage.

Hi

In the meantime I have found a native open source alternative (the sozi extension for inkscape) so prezi is no longer needed.

Sorry for wasting your time and thanks for the help!

No waste, its always nice to see whats out there. I'm glad there is an alternative too.
