I cannot join or host a Terraria server with my friend (who plays natively on Windows 7) with and without Hamachi. To host it sticks at "Starting server..." and joining it sticks at "Requesting tile data". Any solutions or help, thanks ahead of time.

EDIT: I made a mistake in putting this under PlayOnMac, it should have been under PlayOnLinux.
