Let us know if you managed to sort it out. In any case, I think that this thread should be marked as solved.

Yes, I can definitely play Assassins Creed II Making a guide on how to install. I submitted a request to add the crypt32 that we installed to the packages in PlayOnLinux. If they can't do it, then I've kept a copy of all the files, so maybe I could make it public some how. Yes, mark as "Solved"

Resurrecting this thread.
I have Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon on this computer and Far Cry 3 on my wifes computer. Both need Uplay to work. On my computer I could make uplay account and it connects to server, but the game does not launch. On my wifes computer Uplay doesn't get a connection to the server.
Tried to use your console trick to install crypt32 but it is 404 not found.
Hints?

Yes, I have been able to play all the Assassin Creed's up to Revelations. Assassin's Creed III is Direct X 11 compatible so it will not work in Wine yet.
Search for "Assassin's Creed Linux Guide" and you will find some step-by-step tutorials on how to play them in PlayOnLinux

Oh, I was installing the packs from the configuration window! It works now after installing them from the edit/modify program :)
Though, Farcry 3 is painfully slow in 1.9.18-staging with 2500k and 660ti :( Maybe I should try it on 64-bit wine...

Sorry, I didn't even notice there was a second page to this thread. so I replied to the wrong post.
Yes definitely try a 64-bit virtual drive.
I recently tested Darksiders 2 and it would crash in a 32-bit virtual drive because of a memory bug. But runs perfectly in a 64-bit virtual drive. So definitely give it a try and let us know how it goes
