Bought the game on Steam.
Installed Steam on "PlayOnLinux".
Booted Steam through "PlayOnLinux".
Installed Game.

Game runs smoothly on the highest resolution etc.

Came across an rare/occasional glitch where an error would appear and game would terminate. (Mainly occurred at the end of the level after clicking "Next Mission"). Mouse would then vanish.

Got around this^ glitch by pressing the "Mute Sound" Hot-key on my keyboard. Mouse would then re-appear. After putting the sound back on, make sure that both the "PlayOnLinux" window and Steam window were both open. Then click "Play" on Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory in the Steam window. The game glitches and you end up with a magnified look at the top left of your desktop. Press alt-f4, to close the Steam window and then click on the "Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory" tab on your toolbar. Game should open after a couple of seconds of a black screen. Go into Settings into the game and put the settings back to the highest resolution etc.

Game should run smoothly afterwards. Repeat if situation occurs again but I found it only happens rarely.

Also, when closing "PlayOnLinux" and Steam. Close Steam via the icon on the toolbar first and then close "PlayOnLinux". DO NOT just close "PlayOnLinux" and click "Yes" to the "Are you sure you want to close all PlayOnLinux windows?" message. This screwed me up. Be sensible and un-lazy and do things properly.

If you do click "Yes" to the "Are you sure you want to close all PlayOnLinux windows?" message, I believe you'll have to go through that long winded way to fix it.

Otherwise, Enjoy.
