Choppy Frame Rate

I have been playing TellTale's Back To The Future adventure game for a few weeks now just tolerating the choppy frame rates.
Its seems to really choke up right before the dialog starts.

I have already tried many different Wine versions (1.4.1, 1.5, 1.5.25, 1.5.28, 1.5.30) and they all run the game fine except the stuttering...

Also installed d3dx9 and d3dx9_35 through 43
Installed vcrun2005, 6, 2008 & 2010
I messed with different settings in Configuration Display settings and even ingame graphics settings.
I even turned off opengl...
Not matter how high or low the settings the stutter is still there!

After using the debug, I noticed several hundred of these entried:
fixme:d3d:gl_blend_op Unhandled blend op 0.fixme:d3d:resource_check_usage Unhandled usage flags 0x8.
Did some research on the error and gl_blend has a small history of problems with left4dead & the walking dead... I found but reports on WineHQ, but nothing resolved.

Anyone else have some tips?

Just following up on my post...
Back To The Future isn't running slow as in Frames Per Second, its actually really choppy like frames are being skipped but the game is running as normal speed.
Very strange.

I installed Back To The Future in Windows 7 (same computer as Linux) and it runs perfectly! Totally smooth.
