I have completed installing and patching tera.
when I open the launcher and downloading manifest completes ap popup window apears that says loading for quite some time then it gives the error can not connect to login server.
server status was good (i checked)
vmware player is installed on my system (is this a possible cause for problems?)
I am using Lubuntu with the latest system updates and the official closed source video driver from AMD.
Hardware specs:
intel i7 quadcore with hyperthreading @ 2 GHZ
8GB DDR3
AMD Radeon HD67xxM series with 2 GB DDR5
I hope i have provided enough information here or else please let me know.

Edit: i am using the latest POL version and many thanks in advance of course. :)

Nah. VMware wouldnt do anything. lol

Can you run playonlinux from the terminal, and try to open the launcher like that? Chec out the sticky at the top of this forum to learn how to get your bug output from within POL, as well. That will help greatly..

PS: Nice system specs. Im jealous. :)

From what I heard from En Masse the "unable to connect to login server" is a server side problem many people are having due to the server being over filled. The only thing you can really do is try restarting the launcher over and over again until it connects or so they say I suppose.
