Always install any games or programs into their default folders with the default options, unless otherwise stated in the script.
C:\\users\\waternoodles\\Desktop/League of Legends /home/waternoodles/.PlayOnLinux//wineprefix/LeagueOfLegends/dosdevices/c:/users/waternoodles/Desktop/League of Legends ^^^^That is an odd place for a game to install to, unless its been cracked. At least thats how it looks to me.

It was installed with default options, could it be that there's a problem with using the open source radeon drivers? I see that this computer is using galium to render the game if I'm not mistaken; Do I install the proprietary drivers?

No. The errors that are in there are stating that it cannot find the executable that is linked with the shortcut. Although, I do believe you will have issues using those drivers. In my opinion, if you can use proprietary drivers, use them without fail. You will always have a better computing experience using the prop drivers from the manufacturer.

How would I fix this error of the link then? Is it a simple symlink?

Yes. You could also: -Open POL -Click Configure -Click Miscellaneous tab -click "run a .exe in this virtual drive" -search for the LoL launcher, select it, and click next If it starts then, you need to create a new shortcut: -Open POL -Click Configure -Select your LoL Virtual Drive -Click "Create a shortcut from this virtual drive" -When the window pops up, select your LoL launcher -Click Next And it should create a new launcher to that .exe.

[04/01/13 13:26:26] - Running wine-1.5.12-LeagueOfLegendsShop cmd /c echo %ProgramFiles% %SystemDrive%\\Program Files
The virtual drive wasn't created correctly. We're not totally sure how it happens, there has been some changes in PoL 4.1.9 that should make it much less likely but I've seen one or two reports when it still happened. Still, it looks much less frequent now. Back to point, the only known way to fix that is to erase the virtual drive and reinstall. Consider upgrading PoL to latest 4.2.1 before reinstalling. I hope you kept the install files so you don't have to redownload them. Edited by petch

actually you dont have to keep install files or redownload. just copy the Riot Games folder to somewhere safe. erase the virtual drive by installing it again when it asks for installation file just hit cancel. then copy your Riot Games Folder back to the ~/.PlayOnLinux/wineprefix/LeagueOfLegends/drive_c/ folder go to configure your "new" wineprefix and hit "make a new shortcut ..." choose the League of Legends.exe and add arguments: run lol_launcher 0.0.0.0 LoLLauncher.exe

If he saved the install files, reinstalling shouldn't be significantly slower *and* we will have some confidence over the way it's installed, which can greatly simplify support. I also noticed: > glxinfo \\| grep rendering direct rendering: Yes > glxinfo \\| grep renderer OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on AMD RV730 > OpenGL libs (Direct rendering testing)
Can you install AMD/ATI proprietary driver ("Catalyst")? I don't think Gallium is ready for (Wine) gaming yet. Edited by petch
