I'm using Cinnarch with Kernel Linux 3.7.10-1-ARCH and GNOME 3.6.2
As far as I know this is basically Arch Linux with Cinnamon on top and some neat user-friendly stuff included (like PacmanXG4)
The distro came with mesa 9.1.2 installed and I wanted to try wine to see its performance. I installed The Last Remnant, the game booted up and there weren't noticeable graphical bugs, the game ran fine except for the very poor frame rate.
So I decided to install the proprietary drivers to check the difference between Windows and Linux using Wine. Of course I had to unfortunately downgrade xorg from 1.13 to 1.12.4 and finally proceeded to install
javascript:nicTemp(); from AUR. Everything seems to have been installed properly, i followed the wiki
javascript:nicTemp(); and I think I blacklisted "radeon" correctly. I also disabled dynamic kernel mode setting too. CS: Source and TF2 have great performance :D
The problem is that now the game doesn't do anything after the splash logo. It seems to freeze! I installed it using the installer provided by PlayOnLinux, and I followed the HOWTO
javascript:nicTemp();Well mostly... I don't understand the "OpenAL" part. I can't find any .alsoftrc anywhere and creating one doesn't change anything :\\ (I have 'lib32-openal' and 'openal' installed)
Changing between Wine 1.3.23 and 1.5.25 doesn't solve it either.
This is the log with trying to config 1.5.25, there is no sound driver nor direct3d options ->
javascript:nicTemp();This is the log when trying to config 1.3.25, I can test sound (it detects ALSA) and have direct3d options ->
javascript:nicTemp();
If someone could help me fix this that'd be really cool!
EDIT: Is it possible to make links like smthg instead of having those "javascript:nicTemo();"?
