Diablo 3 "failed to retrieve blizzard launcher properties"

Brand new ubuntu 12.04LTS installation, 64-bit. PlayOnLinux 4.1.9.

I get to the point where the launcher opens and I get the error message "failed to retrieve blizzard launcher properties" and then the launcher quits and my PlayOnLinux window status stays stuck at "waiting for diablo III to be installed" and then nothing else happens.

Here is the entire output, from execution of playonlinux until the point where it gets stuck: http://pastebin.com/U74isyWq I've installed playonlinux many times before in ubuntu 12.04 64-bit, and as far as I can tell the only difference on this install is that for this one I used the ubuntu alternate CD and installed LVM with a fully encrypted file system. But I don't see why that would cause Diablo's launcher to fail...

Any help appreciated!!!!

Most curious - tried again today and it seems to be working. The game is installing, yay!
